Digital Connexion names former Sify Digital head as its new CEO

Digital Connexion, a provider of data centre, colocation, and connectivity solutions, has appointed CR Srinivasan as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to expand its footprint in India’s rapidly growing digital landscape.

Srinivasan comes with over 30 years of experience and has worked across telecommunications, information technology, cybersecurity, and digital services. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Madras University. Previously, he served as CEO of Sify Digital Services Limited, where he drove significant growth. He also led the cloud and cybersecurity division at Tata Communications, successfully scaling operations and fostering high-performing teams. At Digital Connexion, Srinivasan is expected to steer the company towards new opportunities, focusing on innovation and sustainable growth to meet the evolving needs of businesses.

Srinivasan said, “Our goal is to build advanced infrastructure that empowers businesses, drives digital transformation, and delivers lasting value to customers in India and across the globe.”

Digital Connexion is a collaboration between Brookfield, Reliance Jio, and Digital Realty, combining their services to deliver world-class digital infrastructure in India. The company is currently investing in over 140MW of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-ready data centre capacity in Chennai and Mumbai.  

Srinivasan’s appointment comes at a time as Digital Connexion seeks to strengthen its position in India’s competitive digital infrastructure market, the company said in a statement.
