
Deloitte and UiPath partner to launch Agentic GBS for enterprise automation


Deloitte India has partnered with UiPath to develop Agentic Global Business Services (GBS), a solution aimed at advancing intelligent automation in enterprises. This collaboration introduces agent-based automation designed to work independently across various business functions including finance, HR, IT, and supply chain.
Agentic GBS integrates technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), generative AI, machine learning, and workflow orchestration. The goal is to move beyond task-based automation to systems that can act independently, make decisions, and adapt to changes in real time. These agents operate with minimal human input, allowing organisations to scale operations more efficiently.
Traditional automation often focuses on repetitive tasks. In contrast, Agentic GBS is structured to support goal-oriented actions. The system enables digital agents to perform end-to-end processes, make context-aware decisions, and coordinate across platforms. This approach is expected to support faster return on investment, better compliance, and a more integrated digital workforce experience.

According to Deloitte, over 80 percent of Indian businesses are exploring autonomous agents. The new solution responds to this trend by offering enterprise-grade scalability and integration. Deloitte will combine its experience in automation with the UiPath platform to deliver solutions that align with strategic business outcomes.
The partnership aims to create systems that learn and improve over time. These intelligent agents are intended to help companies increase operational resilience while reducing reliance on manual processes.
