Accounting firm KPMG in India has appointed Gautam Bhattacharya as the Partner and technology consulting leader. Bhattacharya will be working to strengthen the firm’s digital transformation and analytics offerings, helping clients to scale business by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technology.

He has over two decades of experience in analytics, enterprise transformation, and decision intelligence. In the past, Bhattacharya has led large teams and high-impact programs across industries including consumer markets, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Further, on Tuesday, KPMG also announced an alliance with analytics firm Exacaster to enhance customer engagement and value realisation in the telecommunications sector, offering a suite of customer value management solutions. These joint offerings are expected to improve customer data analytics, retention strategies, churn management, and overall business efficiency.

Under this partnership, Exacaster’s advanced AI and machine learning capabilities will be combined with KPMG in India’s strategic advisory and implementation expertise.

The alliance will see both parties working together on a series of coordinated actions aimed at delivering measurable client value. Some of these include- joint go-to-market initiatives, collaborative opportunity identification, and the co-creating of tailored, data-driven technological solutions.
