TVS Electronics has announced the launch of its Enterprise Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) portfolio, marking a significant step beyond its traditional retail focus. The move positions the company to compete in the enterprise segment by offering a wide range of mobility solutions and data capture products across India.

The company aims to support Indian businesses in digitising operations through affordable technology backed by local service. TVS Electronics’ service infrastructure will provide maintenance support and lifecycle solutions, including sales, servicing, and auctions of refurbished equipment. By introducing scalable and practical technologies, the company intends to enhance accuracy and efficiency in areas such as inventory, tracking, and data management.

The rapid expansion of India’s track and trace sector, projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of over 21% by 2030, provides fertile ground for AIDC adoption. With smart tracking software and AIDC tools driving real-time supply chain visibility, logistics and manufacturing operations across the country are undergoing a shift towards greater automation and responsiveness.

In addition to hardware, the company is developing a broader automation ecosystem that integrates with enterprise platforms such as SAP and Oracle, and incorporates warehouse and mobile device management tools like SOTI. Through partnerships with software providers and system integrators, TVS Electronics is aiming to deliver tailored and scalable enterprise solutions. The company’s services include consulting, implementation, training, and long-term support.
