LTTS launches proprietary GenAI framework

IT services firm L&T Technology Services has launched its proprietary GenAI-based framework called PLxAI. This solution is expected to accelerate the product development lifecycle (PDLC) for its global clients in the mobility, sustainability, and tech domains.
PLxAI used a combination of generative AI and conventional AI to help build scalable and reusable solutions across all PDLC stages, ranging from concept design to aftermarket services support. The LTTS team has already deployed over 36 use cases across various life cycle stages (in various stages of deployment), and an additional 35 use cases are in the design phase across concept design, component design, validation planning, failure mode analysis, digital twin integration, and agentic workflows.
“This is a proud milestone for Team LTTS. The development of PLxAI by our in-house AI experts is a testimony to LTTS’ engineering and technology capabilities. It reaffirms our deep commitment toward driving global client success across Mobility, Sustainability and Tech leveraging the power of AI and Gen-AI-based offerings. The enthusiasm from our global clients has been remarkable, with deployments already underway across multiple domains,” said Alind Saxena, President & Executive Director - Mobility & Tech at LTTS.

PLxAI incorporates advanced features like capturing and leveraging existing knowledge, including organisational and tribal knowledge, to deliver context-aware insights that enhance and optimize product engineering.
Last month, LTTS signed a $60 million multi-year agreement with a US-based Tier-I wireless telecommunications provider. The contract involves the delivery of software engineering services to support the client’s network software automation efforts.
As part of the agreement, LTTS will provide engineering solutions such as R&D lab integration, new product development, and functionality testing. LTTS is also established a delivery center in the United States to manage project execution and ensure local support.
