SiMa.ai partners with LTTS to develop AI-based solutions

IT services firm L&T Technology Services has announced a partnership with San Jose-based AI startup SiMa.ai. Through this partnership, the firms will be providing AI-based solutions across industries such as mobility, healthcare, industrial automation, and robotics. The joint development of use cases in these areas is expected to drive the expansion and broader adoption of SiMa.ai’s platform.

This partnership integrates LTTS’ deep engineering expertise and domain focus with SiMa.ai’s Machine Learning System-on-Chip (MLSoC) ONE platform and software SDK. SiMa.ai will deliver industry-leading AI hardware and software solutions by leveraging LTTS’ core engineering capabilities and human capital investments across key areas.

The teams will also establish a scalable product support framework, ensuring streamlined deployment of the solutions for global clients.

Last month, SiMa.ai closed an $85 million funding round to advance its hardware and software solutions for physical artificial intelligence applications.

The round was led by Maverick Capital with participation from existing backers and new investor StepStone Group. The latest round brings the startup’s total funding to $355 million since its inception.

“We're scaling quickly to extend our competitive lead and meet global customer demand across robotics, automotive, industrial automation, aerospace and defense, smart vision, and healthcare,” Rangasayee said at that time.
