Indian IT company Tech Mahindra on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with US-based semiconductor major Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to accelerate enterprise transformation through next-generation infrastructure, hybrid cloud, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The multi-year agreement will combine AMD’s high-performance computing portfolio with Tech Mahindra’s cloud platform, BlazeTech, to build scalable solutions for enterprises in manufacturing, banking and financial services, telecom, and healthcare. The collaboration is aimed at helping organisations optimise workloads across end-user devices, servers, and cloud infrastructure spanning public, private, and hybrid environments.

Enterprises globally are grappling with rising demand for AI-powered workloads, while balancing the complexity of hybrid and cloud-native ecosystems. Tech Mahindra’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohit Joshi, said the partnership with AMD will help customers maximize performance without compromising on speed, security, or control.

“Our strategic agreement with AMD enables next-generation, hyper-scalable solutions that seamlessly bridge on-site infrastructure with cloud-native capabilities,” Joshi said. “This will help customers optimise performance across distributed environments while maximising ROI.”

For AMD, the partnership marks a deeper push into enterprise-grade solutions at a time when AI adoption is emerging as a key growth driver. Dr. Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD, said: “Together, AMD and Tech Mahindra will help enterprises accelerate cloud transformation and AI adoption with the performance and efficiency needed to scale. By combining AMD EPYC processors and AMD Instinct accelerators with Tech Mahindra’s expertise, we can enable customers to deploy AI across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.”

The two companies plan to develop a joint roadmap for infrastructure optimisation and AI enablement. The focus will be on integrating AMD’s compute and accelerator technologies with Tech Mahindra’s domain expertise to deliver tangible business outcomes—from operational efficiency to customer engagement.
