L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has strengthened its partnership with Siemens Limited to speed up AI-driven transformation in process engineering and smart manufacturing. The move is aimed at tapping into India’s growing demand for intelligent, sustainable, and digitally enabled industrial ecosystems.

As part of the expanded collaboration, LTTS will leverage Siemens’ digital technology portfolio to develop simulation-driven automation and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)-enabled solutions. These will feed into LTTS’ sustainability-focused offerings, which the company sees as a key growth driver across industries such as automotive, industrial products, and energy.

“Our collaboration with Siemens underscores a shared vision of driving AI-powered innovation and operational excellence across industrial ecosystems,” said Alind Saxena, President & Executive Director – Mobility & Tech, LTTS. “By focusing on robust solutions such as Machine & Line Simulation and IIoT Technology, we are empowering industries to achieve greater agility, actionable insights, and measurable business outcomes.”

Siemens echoed the sentiment, underscoring the role of partnerships in shaping India’s digital transformation roadmap. “At Siemens, we believe that partnerships are the cornerstone of the digital transformation journey for Indian enterprises,” said Suprakash Chaudhuri, Head of Digital Industries, Siemens Limited. “By combining deep domain expertise with cutting-edge digital solutions, we can co-create scalable, future-ready innovations.”

Industry watchers said the tie-up could help enterprises accelerate digital adoption, improve precision in system design, and strengthen decision-making processes, especially at a time when manufacturing companies are investing heavily in automation, AI, and sustainability. The partnership is also expected to reinforce LTTS’ positioning as a key player in enabling intelligent and environmentally responsible industrial ecosystems.

The announcement comes on the heels of LTTS’ tie-up with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab last week to explore next-generation AI advancements. The engineering services company said the MIT collaboration will focus on sustainable engineering solutions, spanning areas such as smart mobility systems, AI agents, and green infrastructure design.
