Blue Cloud Softech inks $9.6 mn deal with Axiom Vortex for AI-led defense cybersecurity rollout

Hyderabad-based Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL) has secured a $9.63 million (₹80 crore) contract from Axiom Vortex Inc, a US defense technology company, to deploy AI-driven Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and Agentic Perimeter Security systems across defense contractor facilities in Africa and the Middle East.

The 15-month turnkey project will fuse BCSSL’s proprietary Operational Technology (OT) Security Platform with Axiom Vortex’s military-grade cryptographic technologies, creating an end-to-end defense-grade cybersecurity framework for mission-critical infrastructure.

Axiom Vortex, known for its MIL-grade cryptographic systems in defense and aerospace, has partnered with BCSSL to build a multi-layered cybersecurity architecture spanning IT, OT, and network defense. BCSSL’s OT platform integrates EDR, NDR, and XDR with AI-based Agentic Perimeter Defense, enabling proactive threat detection, intelligent automation, and real-time incident response.

A standout element of the deployment is a digital twin simulation module that mirrors clients’ defense infrastructure to model threats and assess vulnerabilities dynamically. This virtual replica allows testing for potential cyber intrusions across command-and-control systems, weapons interfaces, and secure communications networks—before they occur.

Furthermore, as part of the global rollout, BCSSL will deploy the integrated solutions across strategic defense contractor sites in both regions to enhance national security and operational resilience, particularly amid the surge in hybrid cyber-kinetic threats targeting critical defense assets.
