Emids names Sathiyan Kutty as Chief AI Officer to drive enterprise AI adoption
Emids, a technology services company focused on digital engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), and platform solutions for the healthcare and life sciences industry, has appointed Sathiyan (Seth) Kutty as its Chief AI Officer. In this new role, Kutty will be responsible for leading the company’s AI and data strategy to help healthcare, life sciences, payer, and health technology clients shift from exploratory AI projects to enterprise-wide, outcome-focused implementations.
Kutty brings more than two decades of experience in analytics, AI, and enterprise technology. Before joining Emids, he held senior leadership positions at several major organizations, including Kaiser Permanente, Tesla, VMware and Intuit, where he worked with executive teams to design and operationalize data and AI solutions that support large-scale business needs.
His career also includes work in enterprise software and services, where he focused on scalable AI architectures and analytics modernization for distributed teams. In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Kutty has founded and led data and AI services ventures that delivered practical solutions to enterprise clients, emphasizing governance, interoperability, and integration with existing systems.
At Emids, Kutty will work on integrating AI into core workflows while ensuring alignment with healthcare industry requirements, including regulatory compliance and operational context. His work is expected to support Emids’ Service as a Software model, which combines domain expertise with AI-enabled platforms to deliver predictable outcomes for enterprise clients. Emids has been expanding its portfolio of AI tools and platforms designed to embed intelligence into operational systems across healthcare companies.

Kutty holds a degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he studied engineering and computing, equipping him with a technical foundation for his work in data science and AI.
