Blue Cloud Softech completes AI health screening PoC with Konkan Railway

Hyderabad-headquartered IT firm Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd. has successfully completed a proof of concept (PoC) of its AI-based preventive healthcare solutions for Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL).
In an exchange filing released on Tuesday the small-cap IT company said the PoC of its BluHealth Screener and BluHealth Scanner was conducted at the Madgaon railway station in Goa. The exercise tested the company’s AI-driven health screening technology in a live railway operational environment with real users and officials present on site.
According to the filing, the two-day PoC involved the health screening of 44 individuals, comprising 30 KRCL employees and 14 passengers. The process was carried out under the supervision of five to seven KRCL officials, with operational support from two members of the BluHealth team.

During the trial, the non-invasive AI platform measured key health parameters including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate variability, stress index, and ECG. The system generated instant health reports and analytical insights, which were reviewed in consultation with on-site medical staff, the company said.
Blue Cloud Softech said the PoC demonstrated the platform’s ability to deliver quick and accurate health screenings in high-footfall public settings such as railway stations. The technology also showcased its ability to automatically flag potential health risks, maintain data privacy and confidentiality, and generate reports in near real time—capabilities that are considered critical for large-scale public-sector deployments.
While the company did not disclose whether the PoC would lead to a commercial contract or provide details on potential deal size, the successful completion of the trial positions BluHealth as a potential solution for preventive health screening across railway and other public infrastructure environments.

In November, the IT firm signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) to deploy 5G network technology and a suite of value-added digital services across three stations—Madgaon, Ratnagiri and Udupi—marking a significant push to modernise connectivity along the coastal rail corridor.
Blue Cloud Softech's earlier deals have included a letter of intent to acquire defence tech specialist 3P Vision and a sizeable US contract for the BluHealth comprehensive healthcare platform, illustrating the company’s diversified order book across industry verticals.
On the financial front, Blue Cloud reported robust Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended September 2025), with net sales rising about 38% year-on-year to ₹167.66 crore and net profit climbing nearly 59% to ₹13.65 crore, driven by expanding solution revenues and operational leverage. The company has seen consistent profitability gains across preceding quarters, reflecting growth momentum in core AI, healthcare tech, connectivity and enterprise solutions segments.
