HCLTech to implement digital maintenance platform at HAESL engine service facility

HCLTech has been selected by Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) to deploy a digital system for managing aircraft engine maintenance operations at its Hong Kong facility. The company will implement its iMRO/4 asset management platform integrated with SAP S/4HANA to operate as HAESL’s maintenance execution system.

The system will connect maintenance workflows with enterprise processes, including finance, materials management, and planning. It will provide a single digital workflow from engine induction to release and replace multiple disconnected processes currently used across departments.

HAESL expects the platform to enable real-time tracking of work progress, improve documentation traceability, and support compliance reporting. The integration with enterprise resource planning systems will allow maintenance records, inventory usage, and labor allocation to be managed within the same environment.

The aviation maintenance sector requires precise documentation and predictable turnaround times for airline customers. By linking operational maintenance data with enterprise business systems, the company aims to manage workloads and resource allocation based on live operational status.

HCLTech’s iMRO/4 platform is designed for maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations and integrates maintenance activities with enterprise applications such as SAP S/4HANA. The platform allows organizations to track parts usage, monitor cost,s and coordinate repair stages across teams.
