Deloitte, SAP set up AI Bengaluru hub, eye 500 new hires

Deloitte India and SAP have launched a dedicated AI-led delivery centre in Bengaluru aimed at accelerating enterprise cloud transformation, intelligent automation and artificial intelligence adoption, as demand for AI-powered business modernization gathers pace across industries.
The new Deloitte-SAP Delivery Centre will serve as a strategic innovation and delivery hub supporting SAP and joint enterprise customers across the transformation lifecycle, from architecture and engineering to implementation and managed services.
The launch marks one of Deloitte's first SAP-focused delivery centres in India and reinforces the country's growing role as a global hub for enterprise technology services, cloud transformation and AI innovation.

The centre will be supported by an ecosystem of more than 1,000 professionals and is expected to expand further with the addition of 300 to 500 specialised AI professionals over the next 12 to 24 months. Recruitment will focus on high-demand skills including generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, data engineering and intelligent automation.
"The Deloitte-SAP Delivery Centre underscores our shared commitment to driving innovation through AI, cloud and advanced technologies," said Sathish Gopalaiah, President, Consulting Businesses, Deloitte South Asia. "As organisations accelerate digital transformation, this centre will help SAP and our joint clients harness emerging technologies, scale innovation and deliver technology-led outcomes globally."
The facility is expected to play a key role in helping enterprises modernise legacy systems, migrate to cloud-based SAP environments and deploy AI-driven business processes. It will focus on enabling organisations to unlock business value through SAP's cloud offerings while building intelligent operating models powered by automation and artificial intelligence.

A central feature of the centre is a dedicated AI Command Centre Lab, which will function as a prototyping and experimentation hub for enterprise AI use cases. The lab is designed to help accelerate AI adoption by providing access to development tools, mentorship and collaborative environments for both technical and business teams.
The initiative reflects a broader trend among global consulting and technology firms to invest in AI-focused delivery hubs as enterprises move from pilot projects to large-scale deployments of generative and agentic AI technologies.
Industry analysts say demand for AI transformation services is rising as organisations seek to integrate AI capabilities into core business operations, modernise enterprise applications and improve operational efficiency.

Beyond customer implementations, the centre will also focus on developing reusable frameworks, accelerators and industry-specific assets aimed at simplifying complex transformation projects and reducing deployment timelines.
The announcement comes as India continues to attract investments in global capability centres, AI engineering hubs and cloud innovation facilities, driven by its large technology talent pool and growing strategic importance in enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
With enterprises increasingly prioritising AI and cloud-led modernization, the Deloitte-SAP Delivery Centre is expected to support the development and deployment of next-generation enterprise solutions for customers in India and global markets.
