SKF India, part of the Swedish engineering and manufacturing company, SKF Group, on Monday, appointed Manasa Nagaraju as Head of IT and Digitalisation for India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East (ISEAM), tasking her with driving the company's digital transformation agenda across the region.
In her new role, Nagaraju will lead SKF's IT and digitalisation strategy, strengthen enterprise-wide digital capabilities and support business growth through data, cloud and technology-led initiatives, the industrial technology company said on Monday.
The company provides bearings, seals, lubrication systems, condition monitoring solutions and industrial services. The group operates in about 130 countries and reported revenue of SEK 91.6 billion in 2025, employing more than 37,000 people globally.

"Digitalization is the strategic engine driving SKF India (Industrial)'s next growth phase, far beyond an operational upgrade," Nagaraju said in a statement. "By leveraging advanced data pipelines, cloud architecture and intuitive tools, we will continue to make the industrial market smarter, more agile and highly efficient."
Nagaraju joins SKF with experience spanning aviation, airports, public safety, food technology and manufacturing. She has led large-scale programmes across data strategy, cloud delivery, digital HR and sustainability, with a focus on cost optimisation and business transformation.
She began her career in the aviation sector, where she worked on cargo tracking and booking systems for airlines including Delta Air Lines, Air Canada, American Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). She later moved into analytics and airport operations, leading initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and customer experience.

Over the years, she has also managed public sector infrastructure and safety programmes and has built expertise in cloud, data and enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
