IT services and consulting firm DXC Technology has opened a 200,000 sq. ft. Customer Experience Center in Bengaluru, expanding its India footprint as the global IT services firm bets on rising enterprise demand for artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and cloud-led transformation.

The new facility, one of DXC's largest global delivery hubs, is designed to help enterprises move from AI pilots to production deployments by enabling customers to co-develop, test and scale AI solutions alongside DXC's consulting and engineering teams.

Located in Bengaluru's technology corridor, the centre houses an AI Hub, cybersecurity facilities including a Cyber Range, Forensics Labs and Security Operations Center (SOC), a Network Operations Center (NOC), as well as customer collaboration spaces such as ideation studios, co-creation labs and partner experience zones.

The investment comes as enterprises increasingly seek to integrate generative AI into core business systems while addressing governance, security and operational challenges that have slowed large-scale adoption.

The Bengaluru centre also reflects DXC's broader AI strategy. In June, the company entered into a multi-year global partnership with AI startup Anthropic to integrate its Claude models into mission-critical enterprise systems and joined the Claude Partner Network as a Global Premier partner. DXC said Claude also powers agentic workflows on its AI-native managed services platform, DXC OASIS, which is already being used by more than 50 joint customers globally. Anthropic executives were present at the inauguration, underscoring the centre's role in developing AI-led enterprise solutions and legacy modernisation capabilities.

"Our new Customer Experience Center brings together our engineering talent in a space designed for deeper collaboration with customers and partners, where we can co-create, engineer and scale AI-powered solutions that address complex business challenges," said Ramnath Venkataraman, President, Consulting & Engineering Services at DXC Technology.

DXC said the facility will showcase its capabilities across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, consulting, engineering and network transformation, with a focus on integrating AI into enterprises' existing systems of record and IT environments.

The company added that the flagship AI Hub will enable customers to identify high-value AI use cases, rapidly prototype applications and validate deployments before moving them into production. The integrated operations and security capabilities are intended to support the entire AI lifecycle, from design and development to monitoring and optimisation.

"Our new Customer Experience Center represents a powerhouse for AI innovation, engineering excellence and customer collaboration," said Rob Le Busque, President, Asia Pacific & Japan at DXC Technology. "By bringing together our consulting, engineering and operations expertise in one environment, we're helping customers accelerate AI adoption and create connected enterprises where people work alongside AI agents."

The expansion comes at a time when DXC is looking to return to growth. The company reported fourth-quarter FY26 revenue of $3.13 billion, down 1.2% year-on-year (6.6% on an organic basis), while full-year revenue declined 1.8% to $12.64 billion, or 4.8% organically. During the media briefing, DXC executives described the business as being at an "inflection point", saying the company's AI-led strategy, improved execution and continued investments in India would underpin its next phase of growth and profitability. Against this backdrop, the Bengaluru centre assumes greater significance as IT services firms seek to demonstrate that AI can create new revenue opportunities and business outcomes, rather than merely improve delivery efficiency.
