Fashion e-tailer Zovi names Madhulika Budhiraja as VP for international business

Bangalore-based Robemall Apparels Pvt Ltd, the company behind the private label fashion e-tailer Zovi, has appointed Madhulika Budhiraja as vice president for international business division.

Budhiraja comes with around 11 years of experience in the fashion industry across retail and e-commerce. A MBA in international business & textile designing, she had previously worked at companies including Jabong.com, Fashionandyou.com and Samsaara.

"The e-commerce segment has seen tremendous growth in India in the past few years and this is expected to continue in the near future. I'm pleased to be a part of this exciting journey in the international e-retail space with Zovi.com," said Budhiraja.

Additionally, Zovi has appointed two vice presidents - Anuj Mittal for women's wear division and Sushant Junnarkar for men's wear, while Ashish Agarwal has been named assistant vice president for footwear division.

With 11 years of experience in consulting, Mittal had earlier worked at companies such as Nestle, Dabur and P&G, while Junnarkar had built own entrepreneurial venture earlier. In the past, Junnarkar had also worked at HSBC and Asian Paints.

Agarwal comes with more than nine years of experience in retail, having worked at Flipkart, Amazon India, Landmark Group, Arvind Retail and the Ibibo Group in the past.

Zovi was started as an online menswear private label brand in 2010. The company later added women's wear and accessories .

Early this year, Zovi raised $10 million in fresh funding from existing investors Tiger Global and SAIF Partners. The firm had also earlier secured $10 million from the same investors. In July 2011, it had bagged $5.5 million in a Series A round led by SAIF Partners, with participation from MakeMyTrip's founder Deep Kalra.
