US business software company Salesforce.com Inc. has launched Customer 360 to connect and integrate marketing data as well as the firm’s apps onto a single interface. This, says the firm, will help businesses get fuller pictures of their clients as opposed to fragmented ones.

Besides, the company has announced Einstein Voice Assistant and collaborative tool Quip Slides. In a partnership, Salesforce has teamed up with Apple over mobile apps. Moreover, the business software firm announced three new integrations with cloud business Amazon Web Services to provide clients more data sharing and synchronisation.

Anypoint, a technology Salesforce gained from the $6.5 billion acquisition of MuleSoft this year, will connect Customer 360 to other apps.
With Einstein Voice Assistant, people can get personalised daily briefings and talk to Salesforce via the Salesforce Mobile App or a smart speaker, said Marc Benioff, chairman and co-chief executive officer. He added that companies can use the service to create customer-facing bots without coding.

Quip Slides will allow users to collaborate on the same file.

Salesforce’s partnerships

For iOS, Salesforce is redesigning its app with Apple’s latest features. Salesforce will also provide businesses a new mobile software development kit for iOS. Also, a new iOS app development course will be made available on Trailhead, Salesforce's free, online learning platform.

Also, the business software firm and Amazon Web Services highlighted three new integrations: AWS PrivateLink integration with Salesforce APIs; AWS Integration with Salesforce Platform Events; and Amazon Connect for Salesforce Service Cloud. API is application programming interface, a software that allows two applications to talk to each other.
