Bengaluru-based telecom analytics firm Subex has won an extension of three years on a managed services contract from Kuwaiti telecom operator VIVA Kuwait.
Subex will provide its trademarked revenue operations centre solutions in revenue assurance and fraud management which would help VIVA push its focus across 5G as well as internet of things (IoT) innovations in the telecom sector, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
“We achieved a great degree of process automation and efficiency through our engagement with Subex, and we are keen to carry forward the collective momentum gathered. With their suite of solutions infused with AI/ML, we see great possibilities in the future with this partnership,” said Sai Devata, finance controller, VIVA Kuwait.
Launched in 2008, VIVA is part of the Saudi Telecom Company - a conglomerate with presence in the Middle East and South Africa.
Subex had also partnered with Econet Wireless Zimbabwe (EWZ), one of the African nation's leading telecom operators, for the deployment of its analytics centre of trust (ACT) solution this year.
In January, it launched an AI platform called CrunchMetrics to help enterprises find business opportunities and mitigate risks in real-time.
The BSE-listed entity had reported revenue of Rs 348 crore in the last financial year 2018-19, an increase of 7.3%.
