Suvrat Joshi, a technology product leader with over 20 years of industry experience, has joined predictive logistics SaaS startup FarEye as chief product officer (CPO).
In the new role, a statement said, Joshi will drive the product vision of the Delhi and Chicago, Illinois based startup, which operates under Robotic Wares, and accelerate its global product expansion efforts with a key focus on the needs of customers.
“Suvrat is a product-visionary and has an impressive background with some of the biggest product organizations across the globe,” Kushal Nahata, CEO and co-founder of FarEye, said in the statement.
Joshi, who took charge in January 2021, has led product teams across several leading technology companies, including Yahoo, Amazon, Microsoft, and Facebook. Most recently, he handled the product initiatives at cloud storage company Dropbox.
“I am a strong believer in the power of technology for building solutions that can solve real-world problems. Logistics forms the backbone of any economy and FarEye stands at the forefront – driving innovation in the industry by solving the complex challenges that cost the supply chain and logistics industry trillions of dollars,” Joshi said.
Joshi’s appointment at FarEye comes just a couple of weeks after the startup said that it will hire 100 technology professionals around the world to meet the unprecedented demand for its intelligent platform by retailers, manufacturers, and logistics and transportation organizations.
The solution allows enterprises to orchestrate, track, and optimize their logistics operations and is used by DHL, Walmart, Amway, Domino’s, Hilti among more than 150 customers across 30 countries.
