“During the pandemic, we witnessed growing demand for security solutions that protect organisations in the cloud and beyond the organisation perimeter, as they implemented remote work for their employees. Our channels became an even more essential part of our business, and we collaborated closely to deliver our technologies,” Sundar Balasubramanian said in a statement issued by the company.

Over the last year, Check point has made key appointments for growth in the India market. In February 2020, the company appointed Harish Kumar as head of enterprise for India and Shivin Sharma as head of commercial business and channel sales for India and South Asia.

In December 2020, Check Point announced that it had invested in local geofenced cloud capabilities in India to help organisations keep their cloud workloads safe while meeting compliances and localisation norms.
