Bengaluru headquartered edtech unicorn BYJU’s has partnered with AI-driven HR solutions company dotin Inc for recruitment and retention of talent.
BYJU’s will leverage the company’s employee assessment technology and expertise to hire new employees and enhance productivity, said a statement issued by the company.
Backed by Arka Venture labs and Qu Ventures, dotin uses a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model to provide insights on candidate motivation and an unbiased process for streamlined deployment.
“We’re growing rapidly and are excited to partner with dotin for our hiring needs. Their technology helps in hiring by assessing alignment and by making it easy to deploy through talent life cycle management,” Pravin Prakash, chief people officer of BYJU’s, said in the statement.
Founded in 2014, the dotin platform uses AI, machine learning and natural language processing to evaluate a candidate’s technical skills, personality traits, cultural compatibility, learning style of the individual and other aspects.
“We are excited to take this next step towards global deployment after months of testing. The nature of the problem we are solving, and the size of the business are very exciting to me. We look forward to supporting the scalability of BYJU’S deployment,” Ganesh Iyer, CEO of dotin said in the statement.
Edtech firms in India have been on a hiring spree to target growth. In June 2020, BYJU’s had said that it was looking to hire 4000 people in the next six months, according to a report in Mint.
In its last round of funding, BYJU’s was valued at $16.5 billion.
