IT services provider Hexaware Technologies has announced a partnership with upGrad Enterprise, the corporate skilling division of upGrad. This collaboration aims to upskill Hexaware's workforce in advanced generative AI (Gen AI) concepts and tools, aligning with the company’s goal to remain at the forefront of technological innovation.

Under this partnership, Hexaware plans to train over 100 employees to become GenAI architects. These selected employees will receive comprehensive training designed to equip them with the expertise needed to develop innovative solutions and tackle business challenges using Gen AI, thereby driving client success.

The selection process for the program will be rigorous, targeting employees in specific grades with strong technical or programming backgrounds, particularly those in roles like technical architect. Candidates must have demonstrated high performance over the past two years and completed foundational and advanced Gen AI courses. Additional qualifications include proficiency in deep learning and natural language processing (NLP). The training will blend instructor-led sessions with eLearning modules for a well-rounded educational experience.

Last month, Hexaware unveiled its GenAI App for Retailers on AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog featuring thousands of software listings from independent vendors, making it simple to find, test, buy, and deploy software on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Tailored for e-commerce retailers, the app harnesses the power of Gen AI to automate the creation of product descriptions, streamline bulk image uploads, and enhance product visuals. This not only boosts customer engagement but also improves search engine optimization (SEO). AWS customers can now easily purchase and manage Hexaware’s Gen AI App for Retailers directly within the AWS Marketplace.

Earlier in March, it introduced Tensai GPT, an intuitive AI web application developed in collaboration with Microsoft Azure. Designed to empower Hexaware employees across various industries, Tensai GPT enables users to tap into company knowledge and fuel creativity. The app encourages employees to contribute innovative ideas and bring them to life by combining generative AI with virtual guidance, ultimately benefiting clients with real-world support.
