Nachiket Deshpande to step down as whole-time Director and President of LTIMindtree

LTIMindtree has announced that Nachiket Deshpande, its Whole-Time Director and President, will step down from his position effective October 31, 2025. The company informed the stock exchanges that Deshpande has decided to leave the organization to pursue opportunities outside the firm.

In his resignation letter, Deshpande stated, “After seven remarkable years with LTIMindtree, first as Chief Operating Officer and most recently as President of AI Services, I have decided to step down from my role and formally tender my resignation, with my last working day as October 31, 2025."

Deshpande has been associated with LTIMindtree and its predecessor entities for several years. He played a key role in the company’s operations and leadership functions, particularly after the merger of Larsen & Toubro Infotech and Mindtree. In recent years, he led the artificial intelligence (AI) services division, which focused on integrating AI-based solutions into client offerings.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the Board of Directors has taken note of his resignation and recorded appreciation for his contribution during his tenure. His resignation will take effect after business hours on October 31, 2025, and all related statutory processes will be completed accordingly.

S.N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman LTIMindtree commented, “I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Nachiket for the remarkable impact he has made during his long tenure at LTIMindtree. His leadership and unwavering commitment have been pivotal in shaping the foundation for the next phase of growth for LTIMindtree.”

Venu Lambu, CEO & MD LTIMindtree said, “We sincerely value his contributions. As Nachiket embarks on the next chapter of his journey, we wish him continued success, happiness, and new accomplishments in all his future endeavours.”

The company has not yet announced a successor for the position. Leadership responsibilities in the interim are expected to continue under the supervision of the current Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Venu Lambu, who assumed the top role earlier this year.

Deshpande’s exit comes during a phase of organizational realignment within LTIMindtree, as the company strengthens its focus on digital transformation, cloud, and AI-driven business services. His departure adds to a series of leadership transitions seen across India’s technology services sector in recent months.
