Coforge targets enterprise AI security with new Zero Trust offering

IT services firm Coforge on Thursday launched SecureEdge2Cloud, an AI-powered Zero Trust security platform developed in collaboration with cybersecurity company Zscaler, as enterprises increasingly seek to secure cloud environments and AI applications amid rising cyber threats.

Built on the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform, the offering is designed to help enterprises secure users, applications, devices and data across cloud, on-premises and hybrid IT environments. The platform also aims to support organisations deploying AI applications and autonomous AI agents by providing identity-based access controls and continuous security monitoring.

The launch comes as enterprises expand AI adoption and distributed digital infrastructure, making traditional perimeter-based security models less effective. Organisations are increasingly looking to Zero Trust architectures, which verify every user and device before granting access, to reduce cyber risks while enabling cloud-first operations.

Coforge said the platform combines its cloud transformation and cybersecurity services with Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange to help organisations consolidate multiple security tools into a unified framework. The offering includes capabilities such as secure remote access, AI application security, data protection across SaaS and cloud platforms, visibility into enterprise environments, and continuous optimisation of security policies.

The announcement follows Coforge's inclusion in the next phase of Zscaler's Project AI-Guardian, an initiative aimed at strengthening interoperability between technology partners and Zscaler's AI security portfolio.

"Organisations today need a security strategy that can keep pace with the rapid adoption of cloud, AI and distributed digital ecosystems," said Sudhir Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Coforge.

Jay Chaudhry, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zscaler, said enterprises require security architectures that can support cloud migration, AI adoption and connected digital ecosystems without compromising resilience.

The companies said the offering is intended for enterprises across industries, with initial focus on highly regulated sectors such as banking and financial services, insurance, healthcare and life sciences, where cybersecurity and regulatory compliance are critical.

As enterprises deploy generative AI applications and connect larger partner ecosystems, security vendors are increasingly positioning Zero Trust frameworks as a foundational architecture to protect users, workloads and sensitive data while supporting digital transformation initiatives.
