Meta has appointed CRED founder Kunal Shah as the Global CEO of WhatsApp, succeeding Will Cathcart. The move marks one of the highest-profile global leadership appointments for an Indian entrepreneur. Alongside the appointment, Meta announced an investment of nearly $900 million in CRED at a $4.5 billion valuation. Shah, an active angel investor and former IAMAI chairman, will lead WhatsApp's next phase of growth, focusing on business messaging, communities and secure communications for more than three billion users worldwide. Grihum Housing Finance has appointed Yogiraj Pattani as Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer. He will lead cybersecurity, data privacy and cyber resilience initiatives across the company's network of more than 200 branches. Pattani joins from SarvaGram and previously held leadership roles at IBM, bringing extensive experience in information security governance, compliance and security operations.
Forcepoint appoints Neeraj Ahuja as Senior Regional Marketing Manager

Cybersecurity company Forcepoint has appointed Neeraj Ahuja as Senior Regional Manager – Marketing. He will lead regional go-to-market initiatives, partner marketing and customer engagement across the company's zero-trust and data security portfolio. Ahuja previously held marketing leadership roles at OpenText, Micro Focus and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Siemens names Vikram Anbazhagan as Vice President, Product – AI
Siemens has appointed Vikram Anbazhagan as Vice President, Product – AI, to drive its industrial AI and intelligent automation strategy. He joins from Microsoft Security, where he led marketplace initiatives for Security Copilot, and previously spent more than eight years at Amazon Web Services working on products including Amazon Q, Lex and Comprehend. At Siemens, he will help integrate AI capabilities across manufacturing, mobility, healthcare and infrastructure solutions.
Axis Bank appoints Namrata Dubashi as Artificial Intelligence Officer
Axis Bank has appointed Namrata Dubashi as Artificial Intelligence Officer as it expands enterprise-wide AI adoption. A former McKinsey & Company partner with nearly two decades of consulting experience, Dubashi will report to Executive Director Subrat Mohanty and lead a team focused on AI deployment across credit underwriting, fraud detection, risk management and customer experience.
LIC Mutual Fund elevates Prashant Thakkar to Executive Director

BigBasket promotes Keshav Kumar as Chief Product and Technology Officer

Kumar previously headed engineering for BB Now, BB Daily and supply chain platforms. Healthcare revenue cycle management company Knack RCM has elevated Muthu Kumar Raju to Chief AI Officer. Formerly the company's CTO, Raju will oversee its AI roadmap, focusing on intelligent claims processing, predictive analytics and automation for healthcare providers. He previously founded ApiPlatform and has also worked at Bridgewater Associates.
SKF India appoints Manasa Nagaraju as Head of IT and Digitalisation (ISEAM)

SKF India has appointed Manasa Nagaraju as Head of IT and Digitalisation for the India, Southeast Asia and Middle East (ISEAM) region. She will lead digital transformation, enterprise technology and cloud initiatives across the region. Digital infrastructure company Constl has appointed Nidhi Pandey as Chief Information Officer to lead its enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives.
