Software company Pegasystems said it has rolled out X-ray Vision, a self-healing robotic process automation (RPA) capability to detect and fix broken bots with no human intervention. The solution is combined with Pega RPA, an automated bot authoring tool, to provide clients with faster, more durable and easier-to-deploy service, a statement said.  

FSS adds payment features to ecomm gateway

Chennai-based e-payments services company Financial Software and Systems (FSS) said its ecommerce payment gateway will now support wallets such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay. The move will help merchants provide customers new ways to pay and boost online sales, a statement said.  

McAfee launches cloud-based security solution

Santa Clara, California-based computer network security provider McAfee said it has launched a cloud-based security and information event management (SIEM) solution. Called the McAfee Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) Cloud, the solution helps organisations detect, investigate and be operational in just under two hours, a statement said. As a cloud-based solution, it will offer faster onboarding of security telemetry, automatic updates and continuous system health monitoring, it said.

Weeks after the Indian government banned 59 Chinese apps, IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has sought answers to 77 questions on security and content from them, The Economic Times reported. The minister asked the firms whether they censored content, worked on behalf of foreign governments or lobbied influencers, and has given them three weeks to respond, it said. ByteDance-run TikTok recently said it removed 16 million videos of Indian users between July and December 2019 over content policy violations.

Sarva adds former Masterclass exec Yu to advisory board

Yoga and wellness startup Sarva has appointed to its global advisory board Jen Yu, who will join former Disney executive Jeniffer Chang, and marketing expert and former Spotify executive Mayur Gupta. Yu was earlier the product design director at Masterclass, director of design at the Emerald Cloud Club, and co-founder of health and wellness startup The Cusp.  

Tech Mahindra designs digital transformation course

IT services firm Tech Mahindra said it has designed a two-year post graduate digital transformation programme to address the industry-academia skill gap in new-age technologies such as digitalisation, mobility, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The course, which has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, was designed in partnership with the Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, under the Mahatma Gandhi Mission University, a statement said.
